Portable, computer based facilitation tools for gathering and instantly analyzing data from opinions of a group of people. Also known as "groupware", or audience response systems, these tools greatly increase meeting effectiveness and enhance the decision-making process. They can be used with small groups, or groups as large as 10,000 people. These systems use numeric keypads linked with computer software. Participants use the keypads to respond to questions that have been entered into the software. The software then compiles the results of the group's responses and immediately displays them in a graph.
